Pre-filters and Pre-filter covers for the PowerCap® Infinity®. It is recomended that pre-filters are changed daily before use.

Only use genuine PowerCap® Infinity® filters supplied in pairs from JSP Ltd available from JEA Technologies. Always replace both filters simultaneously. NEVER use compressed air on the filters. This will seriously limit protection.

PowerCap® Infinity® delivers TH3 protection with a Nominal Protection Factor of 500 (UK APF 40). TH3 is the highest possible rating in the EN 12941:1998 + A2:2008 standard.

Does the JSP PowerCap® Infinity® have any Australian or New Zealand approvals?

The JSP PowerCap® Infinity® has the following Australian and New Zealand approvals:

 AS/NZS 1716:2012, AS/NZS 1337.1, AS/NZS 1801

Does the JSP PowerCap® Infinity® use HEPA filters?

The high capacity HEPA filters coupled with the aerodynamically optimised pre-filter covers ensure that PowerCap® Infinity® delivers 160 litres per minute of clean air to the user with maximum battery efficiency. Filters can be effortlessly replaced using an intuitive quick-change bayonet system.

How Long do JSP PowerCap® Infinity® Filters last?

Provided they are stored unopened in the original packaging, filters will last five years from manufacture date. Once removed from their packaging they should be replaced after six months as recommended by Australian/New Zealand Standards (even if they have not been used)

Is the JSP PowerCap® Infinity® easy to maintain and clean?

Key elements of the PowerCap® Infinity® are user-replaceable, allowing easy maintenance and cleaning. This includes: filters, filter covers, visor, peel-off visors, helmet, harness strap, turbo drive unit and carrier, battery pack, visor seal, charging dock, air flow indicator test unit and carry case.

Is the JSP PowerCap® Infinity® visor, impact resistant?

The optical class 1 visor conforms to EN166.B offering impact protection at speeds of up to 270 mph (tested using a 6mm steel ball bearing). The visor has K rated anti-scratch coating and a replaceable peel-off visor protector to prolong it's life.

PowerCap® Infinity® is the very latest in PAPR technology, combining decades of innovation from JSP in the fields of respiratory, head, eye and face protection. Sonis® ear defenders can also be added to complete the wearer's above the neck protection.

What is the best mask to prevent silicosis?

The JSP PowerCap® Infinity® is a fully integrated PAPR-P2 powered air respirator offering 4 of the highest levels of protection in one head mounted unit. It gives the wearer complete above the neck 4 in 1 protection. PowerCap® Infinity®, the perfect choice for many industries where dust poses a great danger to health. Severe health affects of prolonged dust inhalation include lung cancer, silicosis, kidney disease and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease as outlined by the Cancer Council Australia. Please note that JEA Technologies is in no way associated or related to the Cancer Council Australia. The PowerCap® Infinity® protects the wearer against dust inhalation and can help prevent conditions such as silicosis.

Will the JSP Powercap® Infinity mist up while I am using it?

For prolonged user comfort it is important to control the movement of air inside the respirator. JSP, in partnership with leading motorsport dynamicists, have developed an airflow system to avoid misting and increase user comfort.

Will the JSP PowerCap® Infinity® monitor and regulate my breathing?

Real time diagnostics monitor the system and the wearer twice per second, giving the user accurate, dynamic feedback. Periods of high respiratory demand are monitored and catered for by constantly maintaining a positive pressure inside the respirator. Feedback is given on battery and filter condition via the heads up display and audible notifications.
