The purpose of the trial, carried out over a number of weeks, was to capture vibration data and monitor vibration generated from the use of power tools.
Preliminary data captured allowed the Contractor to better manage the HAVs risk and impact on the end user of the Power tool and substrate generated vibration.
Results from the trial has lead to the LXRP contractor acquiring the Reactec HAVwear to improve through HAV monitoring employee wellness and prevent long-term potential health issues.
The HAVwear technology is planned to be used across a number of the Contractors sites.
